As a wedding photographer, I pride myself in being able to undertake pretty much most, “must-have” wedding images.

Whether it is the large family group shot, or using a special “off camera flash” to obtain that unique lighting situation to light you, my amazing couple in a way that no other guest with the camera phone can do - I thrive in the challenge of delivering something special to my clients. But there are limitations… even with a set of step ladders !!

Adding drone imagery to your wedding day allows images to be taken that no other guest or attendee can achieve.

With either photographs or short bursts of video from the onboard camera, it is special to see your wedding unfold from a different point of view.

Things to consider.

The safety of those around the drone and indeed the drone itself must come first. Additionally, there are certain situations and indeed venues where current CAA laws restrict the use of UAVs / drones. Examples of this could be if your venue is close or within range of an airport or military installation. I will notify you whether your venue is within a no-fly zone at your time of booking.

The weather also will dictate whether it is possible to use a drone. Wind or rain will potentially dictate whether it is safe to fly.

But once these issues are overcome the results can be truly breathtaking. Please ask me about associated costs and booking drone involvement at time of enquiry.

Often couples choose to have one or two of these types of shots if the venue and weather allow. If not, some amazing contemporary shots can be achieved inside the venue.
